Some love came back to us on Wednesday night at the South Coast Tourism Awards when ‘We love the Gong’ won the Tourism Marketing category.
The team celebrated the victory and we’ll be gearing up to hopefully win the state tourism award in November.
Thanks to you all – everyone who loves the Gong has been a part of this win and we’re sharing it with you all.

We also took the award for New Tourism Development for the Southern Gateway Centre.
Other local winners included:
- GOLD: Novotel Wollongong Northbeach for Meetings and Business Tourism and Sustainable Tourism
- GOLD: Ibis Wollongong for Standard Accommodation
- BRONZE: Tumbling Waters Retreat for Luxury Accommodation
